The tradition carries on and it may have been the best weather ever! The children ate apples off the trees as we hiked up the mountain. At the top we ate lunch, took pictures, and played games organized by Cameron Prest, Sara Gendall-Wilmott, and Kim Goody. One of the highlights was Mr. Goodell’s telling of the fascinating story about why we build Fairy Houses. Ask your kids about the hand motions for “Nomes are small, Ferries Fly”:) After the story, we all walked to the cross-roads and built the fairy houses to the children’s great delight and then headed back down to the buses. It was a wonderful day and the connections made on this trip were priceless.
